As an evangelical, I was drawn to look at your church. I felt drawn to the Friends emphasis on the baptism in the Holy Spirit as the one baptism. I was therefore disappointed that this video points in another direction. Sad

Hello, Lon!

Thanks for stopping by. In our context the sermon is offered with humility for consideration - the first part of a dialogue. It is impossible to say everything that needs to be said on any topic in 25 minutes. The encouragement is for those participating in worship to take what's offered, reflect, allow it to roll around in their head and heart, and respond in some way. And then to take steps on their journey with Jesus as a result of it all.

It sounds like you have reflected on what was offered, and you have thought of other things that are important to you with regards to this topic. That is great. How does that all drive you to faithfully walk with Jesus today?
